This past Tuesday, Jayce and I both had the day off. He willingly took his day to go with me and the kids to New Orleans for the day. Our day began with Cafe Du Monde! Oh how I love beniets However you spell them! I am sure they are a superfood!! RIGHT! Then we went to the IMAX and saw the 3-D film on Sharks! Then spent what seemed like FOREVER in the aquarium! The kids LOVED it. SO did the big kids. I had only been there one time, and I didn't remember what it was like. It was amazing! So much to look at and so much for the kids to do. They (we) got to pet a shark and a stingray! It was so much fun!! I wish we had time to go to the zoo, but maybe next time. It rained so we took our time. Maybe during the fall sometime (after the marathon) we will go back to the zoo!!

I looooove the aquarium in N.O. But, haven't been back since Katrina. I heard it was in HORRIBLE shape after no electricity for a few days....yuck. I'm glad they have it up and running again. Sounds like you had a great time!!!!
Can you believe I've never had Cafe Du Monde?! I always think about it as I pass it, but never have stopped to eat there!

We are headed to NO tomorrow. I'm not sure if we are doing the aquarium this time, but we are headed for the zoo. Definitely going to Cafe Du Monde, yumm. Love the pictures, it looks like you had a blast.
